William L. Kirkman

Bill Kirkman has been practicing litigation related law in Fort Worth, Texas, since he was licensed in 1978. He graduated cum laude from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1975 and from Baylor Law School in Waco, Texas, in 1978. Upon graduation from law school, he took a position as an associate attorney with the firm of Godfrey, Decker, McMackin, Shipman, McClane & Bourland in Fort Worth. Mr. Kirkman became a partner in that firm in 1980. Mr. Kirkman and another partner in that firm, Richard Bourland, left that firm to form Bourland & Kirkman, L.L.P. in 1988. In August 2014, Mr. Kirkman opened his own firm, Kirkman Law Firm, PLLC. He has practiced litigation and other dispute resolution mechanisms, such as arbitration, almost exclusively over his thirty-eight-year career. He has handled almost every conceivable type of litigation or arbitration-related matter.
